We finally shoveled all the confetti into the garbage and tossed the empty kegs to the curb. That was one serious New Year’s party and we have no regrets (well, for the most part).
But now we’re in the swing of this whole “2012 thing” and it’s looking like a doozy. Our hometown Barack squares up against Romney/Gingrich/Herman Cain (he’s still in this thing, right?) this fall. In but a few days, we get an epic rematch of Super Bowl 42 upon which to set our collective gaze. And of course, there is the impending descent of SNOWMAGEDDON.
…What’s that? It’s 43 degrees out? Oh. Well that’s weird. Either way, our approach is the same. We may not need to shield you from city-stopping blizzards and torrential sheets of ice, but that’s not stopping us from bringing a little touch of the Hawaiian islands to your Northcenter doorstep. Executive Chef Carol Wallack and Sous Chef Bob Bagley continue crafting dishes that cast a bit of Pacific sun across our cozy dining room. So even if 2012 winds up being as fast-paced and energetic as it looks to be, you can always set sail for sola to escape the leap year madness.
